Welcome to EasyDMARC’s Release Notes for July 2024. In the past month, our product and development teams worked hard to provide you with new functionalities, improvements to existing features, and fixes to various bugs that impacted your experience using EasyDMARC.

• Enhancements to Failure Reports (RUF) such as:

  • Option to download Attachments and EML files 
  • Filter RUF reports by Source and apply the same filter to Aggregate Reports (for RUF and RUA correlation)
• Redesigned TLS-RPT Lookup and generator pages (in application and landing pages)

• Various enhancements to Domain Scanner, such as:

  • Redesign of the PDF report for exported scanner results
  • The option to disable BIMI checking in the score calculation logic
  • A new Risk Assessment Level for better vulnerability identification.

  • [For MSPs ONLY]: 

    • Non-technical reports and some improvements to the technical version of the reports
    • Option to add own logo and brand colors to your reports
• Various changes and improvements to the User Invitation Emails

Bug Fixes

EasyDMARC

• We resolved the issue with user invitation and management where - under certain scenarios - it was not possible to invite the user if the Account had a huge number of domains/domain groups
• Various bug fixes for Personal and Organisation Settings, most related to missing or incorrectly rendered UI elements and missing notifications 
• A few fixes to domains Bulk Upload 

We’re delighted to share the new and improved features of our Domain Scanner so this tool can better guide you in securing your domain. 

EasyDMARC's Domain Scanner is an online tool that comprehensively analyzes a domain’s SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and BIMI records, which is the first step in DMARC authentication. 

Here are some of our Domain Scanner enhancements to give you a more seamless user experience: 

• Risk Assessment Level – The new Risk Assessment Level on your domain scan results will let you immediately see how vulnerable your domain is.
• BIMI Configuration – BIMI is no longer included in your Domain Score calculation, so you can focus on getting SPF, DMARC, and DKIM records right first. However, as a registered user, you still have the option to include BIMI in your score.
• A Clear Path to Domain Optimization – Once we’ve identified your domain’s health, you can start your optimization journey by logging in and following the steps in our Setup Wizard.
• Exportable Reports – You can now export documents, both technical and non-technical, to meet different user needs.
  
  
  

We’re also excited to announce new features developed for MSPs: 

• Non-Technical Reports – You can download simplified reports focusing on critical insights without technical jargon. 
• Technical Report Enhancements – Our technical reports now have improved readability, which will assist technical teams with analysis and compliance reporting.
• Customized Reports – Easily add your logo and brand colors to your reports, making them instantly recognizable. 

We will be adding more enhancements over the next few months, so keep an eye out. By continually streamlining your journey to domain optimization, we can help you achieve optimal email security with ease.

Try Domain Scanner

We’re excited to announce our newest integration with Entri’s Connect platform, which enables an even more seamless user experience. Entri now simplifies setting up and managing the DNS records of domains added and managed in our EasyDMARC platform.

Entri can be used with the EasyDMARC platform when you want to:

• Sign up to the EasyDMARC platform and add your first domain 
• Add a new domain in your dashboard 
• Activate EasySPF for selected domain providers such as Bluehost, Gandi, Namecheap, and GoDaddy 
• Activate Managed DMARC, Managed BIMI, or Managed MTA-STS and TLS Reporting for selected domain providers 

Entri supports more than 30 DNS providers; we will initially focus on the most popular ones among our customers:

• GoDaddy 
• IONOS 
• Cloudflare 
• Gandi 
• Bluehost
• Namecheap

Step by step, we’ll include all the providers supported by Entri. We’ll keep you updated on this.

These additional features are:

• EML Format Downloads – Failure Reports can now be downloaded in EML format to facilitate easy reading.
• New Attachments Section with Download Functionality – Our new Attachments Section allows you to see a list of any report attachments of the original emails and download them.
• New “URLs” Section – If the email body includes URLs, they will be displayed in our new “URLs” Section. 
• Copy Functionality for “Raw Header” and “Email Body” Sections – Easily copy the content in the “Raw Header” and “Email Body” Sections with the “Copy” buttons on the right-hand side of each section. 
• Linking Failure Reports with Aggregate Reports – Quickly and accurately switch between Failure Reports and Aggregate Reports using the same filter criteria (PTR, Source IP, and Country) through the “Apply to Failure Report” or “Apply to Aggregate Reports” buttons. 

P.S. To receive DMARC Failure Reports via email, configure the “ruf” and “fo” tags in your DMARC record by specifying the email address where all reports should be sent.

A brand new Personal Settings page and enhanced User Management section have been rolled out to improve your EasyDMARC usability!

These changes offer you a more intuitive experience and empower you to tailor EasyDMARC to your preferences, making it truly your own.

Here’s the summary:

• Managing Users has never been easier! Our new User Management page comes with intuitive features to add, edit, and remove users, as well as control their access levels, all at your fingertips.
• You can update your profile picture, avatar color, and account details. You can also download your data or terminate your account. Two-factor authentication (2FA) is now supported for better security.
• Redesigned profile menu for easier access to settings and organization management options.
