Introducing Audit Logs to the EasyDMARC Platform

We’re delighted to announce the launch of our brand new feature: Audit Logs. This critical addition to our platform is specifically designed to meet the advanced security and compliance needs of our Enterprise and MSP customers.

This feature provides a comprehensive, timestamped record of key actions and system events, offering visibility into user activities, configuration changes, and system interactions.

Audit Logs empower you to:

  • Strengthen Your Security Posture: Proactively monitor for suspicious activity, detect potential security breaches, and facilitate thorough incident investigations.
  • Ensure Regulatory Compliance: Meet increasingly stringent compliance requirements by maintaining an auditable history of critical actions.
  • Improve Operational Oversight: Gain valuable insights into platform usage, identify potential misconfigurations, and streamline troubleshooting efforts.
  • Enhance Accountability: Clearly attribute actions to specific users, fostering a more secure and responsible operational environment.

Key Features & Functionalities

  • Audit Logs are now available under the Organization Settings page
  • The Main Table and detailed Action Overview provide information, including:
    • Name and email address of the user
    • Date and time of the action
    • Action type and name
    • Entity (e.g., domain names and user names)
    • Country and IP address
    • Platform.
  • Users now have the option to search audit logs for user actions and filter by action type or date and export these logs to CSV files
  • Access to audit logs is now granted based on your type of plan:

    • Custom Plan → 6 months access
    • Enterprise Plan → 12 months access

The addition of this new feature is another way we are showing our commitment to providing flexible, secure, and user-friendly solutions for our MSP and Enterprise customers. We are continually developing more enhancements to our platform and services, so keep an eye out for future updates.

Enhanced Functionality for Failure Reports

As you know, DMARC Failure Reports are a valuable tool for quickly identifying and investigating DMARC authentication failures and combating email threats in real time. With this in mind, we’ve added more functionality to our Failure (Forensic) Reports so you can get all the data you need quickly, easily, and in the format you want.

These additional features are:

  • EML Format Downloads – Failure Reports can now be downloaded in EML format to facilitate easy reading.
  • New Attachments Section with Download Functionality – Our new Attachments Section allows you to see a list of any report attachments of the original emails and download them.
  • New “URLs” Section – If the email body includes URLs, they will be displayed in our new “URLs” Section.
  • Copy Functionality for “Raw Header” and “Email Body” Sections – Easily copy the content in the “Raw Header” and “Email Body” Sections with the “Copy” buttons on the right-hand side of each section.
  • Linking Failure Reports with Aggregate Reports – Quickly and accurately switch between Failure Reports and Aggregate Reports using the same filter criteria (PTR, Source IP, and Country) through the “Apply to Failure Report” or “Apply to Aggregate Reports” buttons.

P.S. To receive DMARC Failure Reports via email, configure the “ruf” and “fo” tags in your DMARC record by specifying the email address where all reports should be sent.
