New Integration: EasyDMARC Integrates with Microsoft Sentinel

We’re excited to announce a significant new capability for EasyDMARC users: a direct integration with Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft's cloud-native SIEM and SOAR platform. This integration allows you to seamlessly stream critical DMARC intelligence and email security alerts directly into your Microsoft Sentinel workspace, providing you with a unified view of your security landscape, enabling faster threat detection, streamlined investigation, and automated response capabilities.

Why This Integration Matters for Your Security Operations

Security teams often face challenges with data silos, leading to alert fatigue and time-consuming investigations. This new integration with Microsoft Sentinel directly addresses these issues, providing a more unified view of security events and enabling more efficient threat response.

For Enterprise Customers

For large organizations with dedicated SOCs, a key challenge is correlating siloed security data within central SIEM platforms like Microsoft Sentinel to identify real threats efficiently. By integrating EasyDMARC data directly into Sentinel, security teams can now correlate email-based threats with other security events, significantly reducing investigation time, and improving overall defense against sophisticated email attacks.

For MSPs / MSSPs

MSPs often struggle with managing diverse customer accounts across platforms and quickly identifying widespread threats affecting multiple clients. This integration with Microsoft Sentinel directly addresses these challenges by consolidating DMARC data from all managed tenants into one centralized instance. This significantly boosts operational efficiency, enabling cross-tenant threat detection, and enhancing service offerings with advanced DMARC monitoring.

Key Features and Functionality

The EasyDMARC integration with Microsoft Sentinel Workspaces is designed for practical implementation and impactful security enhancement:

  • Simple Connection: Connect your EasyDMARC account with your Microsoft Sentinel Workspaces. The process involves registering an EasyDMARC application in Entra ID and generating the necessary Client ID, Directory ID, and Secret ID for authentication.
  • Flexible Data Selection: Once authenticated, users can choose to import event data for Alerts, Audit Logs, or both, directly into their Sentinel dashboard.
  • Connection Testing: After configuration, a connection test can be performed to confirm proper data flow.
  • Dynamic Configuration: Settings can be modified at any time post-setup, allowing users to enable or disable specific data streams (alerts/audit logs) as operational requirements change.

This integration represents an important step forward in simplifying and strengthening email security. By integrating email threat intelligence directly into a leading SIEM platform, EasyDMARC is able to provide organizations with enhanced visibility and control over email-based threats.

For detailed setup instructions and further information, please refer to our blog and the comprehensive setup guide from the integration configuration.

Keep an eye out for more integrations from EasyDMARC.

📢 Microsoft Enforces Stricter Email Authentication Rules

Starting May 5, 2025, Microsoft Outlook will require all high-volume senders (5,000+ emails/day) to comply with DMARC, SPF, and DKIM authentication standards. Failure to meet these requirements could result in emails being flagged as spam and eventually rejected altogether.

🔹 Why the change?
Microsoft is strengthening email security to combat phishing, spoofing, and spam. By enforcing these authentication protocols, they aim to increase trust, reduce fraud, and improve email deliverability for businesses and individuals alike.

🔹 What do you need to do?
Ensure your domain is properly authenticated with SPF, DKIM, and DMARC to stay compliant and protect your email reputation.

✅ Check your current authentication setup:

  • DMARC Checker
  • SPF Lookup
  • DKIM Checker

✅ Follow our step-by-step guide:
Learn how to set up DMARC correctly to avoid email deliverability issues.

🔹 Why does this matter for your business?
If you send bulk emails, whether for marketing, customer communications, or transactional purposes, you must adopt email authentication best practices. Failure to comply could mean your emails never reach your customers’ inboxes.

At EasyDMARC, we help businesses simplify DMARC implementation and can ensure full compliance with Microsoft’s new requirements. Don’t wait until May 2025 — take action today!

Introducing the New Viewer Role on the EasyDMARC Platform

We’re excited to announce a new addition to our platform: the Viewer Role. Designed with MSPs in mind, this role allows their customers to get a topline view of what’s going on with their domains, without enabling them to edit any settings in the panel. This ensures that critical configurations remain secure and unchanged.

This new Viewer Role is available for both the Domain Group and Domain levels. The main difference between them is that the Group level Viewer role automatically gets permissions for every new domain added to that Group.

The Viewer Role can be conveniently assigned through the Domain Management, Domain Group Management, and User Management pages.

Key Features and Functionalities for Viewer Roles

Individuals with a Viewer Role on the EasyDMARC platform are able to access the following pages:

  • Dashboard
  • All Domains
  • Aggregate, Failure and TLS Reports
  • Reputation Monitoring (for permitted domains only)
  • All pages under the Tools section
  • Personal Settings
  • Organizations’ pages

Those with Viewer Roles are also able to export CSVs/PDFs of Aggregate Reports, Failure Reports, and TLS Reports for their domains.

However, Viewer Role users can’t perform actions related to domains, domain groups, or user management. They also can’t apply Labels or add domains to Reputation Monitoring.

Click here for the detailed overview of all Roles and their permissions on the EasyDMARC platform.

The addition of this Viewer Role is another way we are showing our commitment to providing flexible, secure, and user-friendly solutions for our MSPs and their customers. We are continually developing more enhancements to our platform and services, so keep an eye out for future updates.
